We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring activities, enforcing safety protocols, and maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance and loss prevention measures. This role is vital in safeguarding our organization against potential threats and ensuring compliance with security policies.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular patrols of the facility to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards. Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, to observe and record activities within the premises. Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including coordinating with law enforcement if necessary. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches. Assist visitors and staff by verifying identification and providing directions or assistance as needed. Conduct loss prevention activities by observing customer behavior and preventing theft or misconduct. Ensure all security equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions or damages.

Skills

Prior experience in law enforcement or security roles is highly desirable. Strong surveillance skills with proficiency in CCTV operation and monitoring. Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to minimize theft and inventory loss. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail in identifying potential security threats. Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations or emergencies. Good communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and the public. Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond quickly when necessary.
