Responsibilities

Control access for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by verifying identification and issuing passes as needed. Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including entrances, exits, parking areas, and sensitive zones to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized entry. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies by assessing situations accurately and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary. Implement loss prevention strategies by observing for theft or misconduct and reporting findings according to company protocols. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, visitor entries/exits, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping. Provide first aid or CPR in emergency situations when required, demonstrating readiness to assist colleagues or visitors in distress. Enforce safety policies and conflict management procedures with professionalism and calmness to de-escalate tense situations effectively.

Qualifications

Proven experience in security roles or related fields such as law enforcement, military service, or private security is highly desirable. Certifications in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), conflict management, or surveillance systems are a plus. Knowledge of CCTV operation, loss prevention techniques, and basic law enforcement procedures enhances effectiveness in this role. Strong observational skills with the ability to identify potential security risks quickly and accurately. Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members, visitors, and emergency responders.
