Job Summary:

As a member of the Security Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests and customers while they enjoy Niagara Clifton Group's properties on Clifton Hill.

: From $18.50 per hour based on experience

Responsibilities:

Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees; Respond to and assess suspicious activity, incidents or behavioral concerns; Provide instructions and information to guests; Handle emergency situations, alarms, and other safety concerns; Prepare and document accurate incident and shift reports; Be visible to customers as they enter and exit the premises; Physically conduct regular patrols, and property inspections; Collaborate with team members, department heads, and law enforcement when necessary; Handle upset customers in a calm and professional manner; and Assist the overall operation by performing duties as needed.

Requirements:

Ministry of Ontario Security License; Use of Force; Smart Serve; First Aid/ CPR; Minimum of 1-year previous experience as a Security Guard preferably in the hospitality or tourism setting; and Enrollment or completion of Police Foundations is an asset.

Qualifications:

Excellent judgement, verbal de-escalation and written communication skills; Must be able to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays; Professional presence with the ability to remain calm and perform duties under stressful conditions; Strong attention to detail and proactive in maintaining safe environments.
