:Monday to Thursday (FT )- 0830 -1830


Friday: 0830 -1830 & Saturday (PT) - 0830 - 1630.

Pay Rate

: $19.50 per hour

Overview:

Allied Universal is currently hiring Security Professionals to provide professional, front-line security services for a prestigious financial institution. This role is ideal for individuals with strong customer service skills, a professional demeanor, and a background in corporate security.

Responsibilities:

Present a polished, professional, customer-friendly image at all times Incident response, patrols and inspections of space and equipment Liaise with the Corporate security program to compound incident response Record activities and incidents via security tours Walk-safe program for employees working after hours Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to de-escalate Ensure that the facility's safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site emergencies Demonstrate good judgment, common sense, and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications/Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent Legally entitled to work in Canada Have at least 1 year of security experience Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner Licensing requirements are subject to province and/or local laws and regulations and will be required prior to employment. As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background check Display exceptional customer service and communication skills Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently Able to: + Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat + Occasionally lift or carry up to 20 kilograms
+ Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
+ Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
