The Hub is a lively music venue located in downtown Kitchener. We provide friendly service and take pride in offering excellent experiences to all visitors. As we continue to host a variety of types of shows, from comedy shows to live bands we are looking to add a security guard to join our team!

We are looking for a reliable and proactive Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to handle various situations effectively and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in setting up the venue for events Ensure that IDs are properly checked for 19+ shows Monitor and maintain safety and security of the venue during events Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect any suspicious activity Assist in crowd control and manage entry and exit points Respond to emergencies and incidents promptly and effectively Report any incidents or issues to the management team

Qualifications:

Must be available to work Friday and Saturday nights Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to stay calm and composed in high-pressure situations Must hold a valid security guard license and smart serve license Possesses both CPR and First Aid Certification
