Titan Security and Investigation is hiring

full-time, floaterfor Security Guards/Long-Term Care Support Workers. We expect the successful candidate to be available 36-48 hours per week and have the flexibility to take shifts wherever they are available to meet this requirement. You will have one set day per week you will not be contacted to work. A valid driver License & vehicle is required for this position.
Security Guard Roles:

Interact professionally with co-workers, residents, clients, and staff. Respond to complaints and concerns from staff, clients, and residents and escalate accordingly (i.e., fire, theft, threats, etc.). Report writing (incidents, shift reports, daily pass-on books, and vehicle maintenance logs) Implement security measures to protect property, residents, and staff; patrol assigned areas to monitor activities; and ensure rules and regulations are followed. Security guards are responsible for the outside of the building, ensuring folks are smoking in the designated area and not hanging around the building or if they cannot access a shelter bed. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Long-Term Care Support Worker Roles:

Provides day to day services and support to individual residents to offer a warm, safe environment , ensuring comfort and welfare needs are met as outlined by the client. Function as a support system for nursing staff to help prevent potential behavior issues from escalating. Document all incidents reported by nursing staff and maintain the resident's activity log. (May vary from location to location) Collaborating cooperatively with staff, volunteers, service providers and other stakeholders to meet resident and family needs. Establish and maintain relationships with individuals and clients, modeling effective/efficient behaviour and demonstrating acceptable professional behavior. Reporting to the Director of Care and taking direction from various members of the Registered nursing team, the CCAs.
Skills and Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills, verbal and written Dynamic and team oriented. Delivering top-class service to our customers through effective communication and ability to build and foster relationships. Proactive and curious with a desire to learn and grow. Knowledge of business and management principles. 1+ years of Security Guard experience is required.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 48 per week
