Ready to suit up as a Hospital Security Guard in Elliot Lake?
GardaWorld is seeking a dedicated and professional Security Guard to join our hospital security team.
In this vital frontline role, you will help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities include monitoring hospital facilities, enforcing safety protocols, responding to incidents, and supporting emergency procedures. You will work closely with clinical and administrative teams to help ensure a secure setting that supports high-quality patient care.
This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain transferable skills for future careers in Law Enforcement, Corrections or for advancement within the security industry or the Security Professional that wants to build their security career while making a positive impact on their community.
Schedule: Continental rotation - 18:30 - 06:30
FULL TIME continental rotation (Week #1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday / Week #2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday).
Payrate: $20.50/hour

Responsibilities for Hospital Security Guard

• Patrol critical areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Check identification and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents

Qualifications for Hospital Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid security license
• First aid certification required
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
