Job Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to protect our property, assets, and personnel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment through vigilant surveillance, enforcing security protocols, and responding promptly to incidents. This role requires a professional with a strong sense of integrity, excellent observation skills, and the ability to handle various security situations effectively.

Responsibilities

Monitor premises through surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches. Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety and security standards are maintained. Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and authorizations of visitors and employees. Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, including medical emergencies or security threats. Document all security activities and incidents accurately in reports for record-keeping and further action. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary to address security issues. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or vandalism activities. Maintain a professional presence at all times to deter unlawful or inappropriate behavior.

Experience

Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or private security is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with surveillance systems and communication devices. Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security protocols is advantageous. Strong observational skills with attention to detail in monitoring environments. Ability to respond calmly and effectively in high-pressure situations. Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
