Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your primary duties will include Ingress and egress control, monitor the safety of guests, monitoring restricted access points, doing foot patrols, noting any and all suspicious activities, USE TWO WAY RADIOS and COMPUTERS

Duties:

- Be confident and comfortable enforcing The Trespass to Premises Act

- Understand the basics of CCC 494(1)

- Patrol assigned areas on foot

- Investigate and report any suspicious activities or incidents

- Enforce access control procedures to ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises

- Respond to emergencies, such as medical incidents or security breaches

- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of daily activities

- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or related field preferred

- Alberta Security License

- Alberta Drivers License

- Basic understanding of arrest procedures

- ProTect

- ProServe

- Strong observation and surveillance skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to remain calm and respond quickly in high-pressure situations

Pay: $16.50-$18.50 per hour
