: Security Guard (Night Shift)

Pay Rate:

$17.00 per hour

Additional Compensation:

Gas compensation provided per shift

Schedule:

Fixed rotation -- 4 days on / 3 days off, then 3 days on / 4 days off

Shift Hours:

7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (timings subject to change)

Work Location:

Various sites across Calgary

Car Required:

A personal vehicle is mandatory for this position

Job Overview:

We are seeking reliable and professional Security Guards to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and the public. The ideal candidate is attentive, responsible, and committed to delivering exceptional security services.

Duties:

Conduct regular patrols to maintain order and ensure site safety Monitor and control access for vehicles and individuals entering the property Identify, assess, and report any suspicious activities or security concerns Respond to alarms, emergencies, and disturbances Assist staff or members of the public when required Complete detailed daily reports, including patrol logs and incident documentation Provide a visible security presence to deter unauthorized activity

Experience:

Minimum

1 year of security experience

(required) Knowledge of security protocols, public safety, and legal guidelines Experience in report writing and incident documentation Intense observation and situational awareness skills

Skills:

Loss prevention Patrol & surveillance (non-CCTV) Strong communication Problem solving Situational awareness

Requirements:

Valid Security Guard License

(Required)

Valid Standard First Aid & CPR Certification

(Required)

A reliable personal vehicle

(mandatory) Ability to work night shifts on a fixed rotation Professionalism and strong interpersonal skills
