Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring property, preventing loss, and maintaining a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observation skills, and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents. Prior experience in law enforcement or surveillance is a plus, but not mandatory. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on safety and security.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the premises Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, including medical or fire incidents Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and issuing visitor passes Assist with loss prevention efforts by observing suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary Ensure all security protocols are followed in accordance with company policies and legal regulations

Qualifications

Previous experience in law enforcement, security, surveillance, or loss prevention is preferred Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond quickly when needed Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass background checks and any required training certifications

Pay: $15.80-$17.00 per hour
