Commissionaires Great Lakes (CGL) is a private, not-for-profit organization founded in 1925 on a mandate that prioritizes providing meaningful employment for veterans and others committed to the well being of Canadians primarily in security guard and related services. Spanning Central and Southwestern Ontario, our services are customized to respond to the dynamic and evolving security needs of both private and public sector clients. These include uniformed guard, mobile response and support services, by-law enforcement and identification services.

WHAT OUR EXCEPTIONAL COMMISSIONAIRES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR

:


Access control and reception Assisting in the logistic support of the RCAF Academy, with emphasis on the support of the Primary Leadership Qualification (PLQ) Course Providing Logistic support to the PLQ Field Exercise Supervising Personnel Awaiting Training (PATs) in support of Supply section activities, including dress and deportment Providing orientation and safety briefings to PATs Training Supply section members in the conduct of their duties Issuing and accountability of RCAF Academy stores consumables and SLOC accounts Submitting Training Support Requests (TSRs) for box lunches and hay box meals Estimating cost of meals for accounting Creating work orders for items to be repaired Submitting supply requests for field stores Periodic Inventory checks Placing orders for consumables Manage and secure field stores equipment Resupply training area Forward Operating Base (FOB) Document for each course a list of materials used and track personnel Organize, maintain, cleanup and supervise FOB area and Sea Cans

WE ARE EXCITED FOR YOU TO OFFER US:

Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent. Ontario Security Guard License (OSGL). First Aid and CPR Certificate. Must be able to obtain

Secret

Security Clearance - minimum 10 years Canadian residency Ability to stand for extended periods. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Job type: Full-Time Hourly Rate of Pay: $28.71 per hour Hours of work: Monday to Friday 0730 to 1530hrs; occasional Saturday and Sunday 0730 to 1400hrs Location: CFB Borden - RCAF Academy
