Overview:

As a Security Dispatcher with Paladin Security, you'll play a crucial role in supporting and coordinating security operations across multiple sites within the City of Brampton. You'll be responsible for monitoring systems such as fire and life safety, CCTV, and access control, while managing communication and dispatch activities for on-site security staff.

This position requires exceptional communication, multitasking skills, and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

Responsibilities:

Monitor multiple systems including fire and life safety, CCTV, and access control Oversee tracking and deployment of security personnel across City of Brampton sites Communicate effectively via two-way radio and reporting software Handle incoming calls, prioritize dispatch requests, and assign tasks accordingly Log incidents, maintain records, and assign reports through dispatch software Respond promptly to emergencies and coordinate with security teams Support investigations of routine incidents and prepare accurate documentation

3+ years of Security Dispatch experience High School Diploma or GED Legally authorized to work in Canada Valid Standard First Aid & CPR Level C with AED certification Current, or ability to obtain, a valid Ontario Security License Certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and MOAB, or willingness to complete Paladin's training (provided with 6-month commitment) Strong verbal and written communication skills in English Comfortable working in high-crowd, high-noise, or occasionally stressful environments Able to provide detailed verbal and written reports regularly

Preferred:

Post-secondary education in Law Enforcement or Security Knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act
