Protector Security Systems & Locksmith Corp. is a growing company located in Fergus, Ontario. We service both residential & commercial properties in Ontario. We are currently looking for an entry level Alarm Security Technician to join our team of professional experts and assist the company with the full spectrum of security services that are in high demand. As an Alarm/Security Technician Apprentice, you will learn and become proficient at: \xc2\xb7 Installation and programming of Security Alarm Systems, CCTV System and Access Control Systems. \xc2\xb7 Troubleshooting and providing technical support and training to clients. \xc2\xb7 Reading and following blueprints and layouts. \xc2\xb7 Running/pulling wire, fishing walls and terminating wiring for installations. \xc2\xb7 Experience working with computer network infrastructure. \xc2\xb7 Providing and writing clear reports of completed work. Additional Requirements: \xc2\xb7 Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. \xc2\xb7 Ability to collaborate with all other team members is essential. \xc2\xb7 General proficiency with computer and electronic technology. \xc2\xb7 On-call rotation required \xc2\xb7 Valid Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License \xc2\xb7 Driver\xe2\x80\x99s Abstract & Criminal Record Check \xc2\xb7 Comfortable working from heights \xc2\xb7 Previous installation and programming experience with the following manufacturers is an asset but not a requirement:

• Alarm Security: DSC Security, Bosch, Honeywell, ELK
• CCTV: ProVision, Uniview, Avigilon
• Access Control: Hartmann, RBH, Avigilon

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of Locksmithing is an asset but not a requirement \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of computer networking and programming \xc2\xb7 Overtime work may be required to address emergency requests (with applicable overtime paid after 44 hours/week) Salary and Benefits: Job Type: Full-time \xe2\x80\x93 44 hour work week Benefits after 6 months Salary: $19.00-$24.00 per hour Work Remotely
