We are seeking a dedicated and experienced teacher or tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a strong ability to connect with students individually.
Responsibilities:
Develop customized lesson plans based on individual student needs and learning goals Provide instruction in using a variety of teaching methods and resources Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Communicate regularly with students and their parents/guardians to provide updates on progress and address any concerns Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of the Ontario or British Columbia curriculum is an asset Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners Patient, supportive, and encouraging attitude towards students Strong organizational and time management skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
Education:
Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Experience:
teaching: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: Remote
