We are seeking a skilled Second Sushi Head Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing sushi dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
Expertise in food handling, preparation, and presentation
In-depth knowledge of food safety standards
Advanced knife skills
Proficient in fish filleting techniques
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
Prepare sushi rolls in accordance with established recipes and standards
Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients used in sushi preparation
Demonstrate skill in fish filleting
Maintain a clean and organized sushi station
Supervise kitchen staff to ensure orders are delivered promptly
Adhere to food safety standards and regulations
Assume the head chef's responsibilities in their absence
