Position Overview:

We are currently looking for a responsible, dependable, and safe Yard Labourer at the Rolling Mix Concrete Edmonton. This position is primarily responsible for basic maintenance, support, and labour at the plant facility.

Responsibilities:

Perform general labour throughout the plant. Perform basic maintenance on plant equipment. Assist plant manager with needed tasks and operations. Dump ice and other materials into concrete mixtures. Transportation of materials and product. General housekeeping and yard work. Participate in and adhere to all safety protocols, polices, and procedures. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Valid class 5 drivers license and clean drivers abstract. General construction experience. Basic mechanical ability to perform maintenance repairs. CSTS Certification is preferred. WHIMIS training is preferred.

Work Environment & Hours of Work:

An outdoor and indoor environment, working conditions will be subject to weather conditions. This position is physical in nature and requires bending, crawling, crouching, and standing for long periods of time. Materials are heavy and cumbersome, must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis. Work will be 5 days a week, Monday through Saturday, with days off on a rotating schedule. Overtime will be required at times to meet production demands.
