GLVT is currently hiring for a Seasonal Project Coordinator.

RESPONSIBILITIES



Assist in transitioning proposal/quotation to executable project which includes: Obtaining/creating required project documents.

Creating and maintaining updated scope lists to field staff. Creating, order, maintaining, and setting up material quantities, vendors, subcontractors, and contacts for the field staff. Assisting in subcontractor management with project team. Coordinating and communicating any project changes to the field staff. Organizing project files including but not limited to Track, manage, and properly store all GLVT site photography. Maintain and record paperwork associated with GLVT's quality assurance and quality control. Assist in risk mitigation, safety and environmental components of the projects.
Assist with Project Financial tracking and Key performance indicators.

Be a representative for GLVT management - when attending meetings, document decisions, identify differences between specifications and site conditions, drive change order and scope change processes, prevent unauthorized scope addition, manage customer schedule expectations and changes.

Be able to balance customer relationship with corporate objectives using constructive conflict techniques.

Be able to work independently with staff that are in many locations. Flexible with working hours and locations.

QUALIFICATIONS



Bachelor's degree or diploma in construction management, CET,LAT, project management, engineering, or other related fields.

3+ years' experience in construction industry.

Knowledge of construction industry including equipment and techniques, drawings, and specifications, building materials, quality, safety, construction sequences, and building code.

Ability to apply basic problem-solving or construction principles to challenges and present solutions.

Ability to maintain schedules and administer subcontracts and contract documents.

Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Competent with the use of Google Suite and Adobe Suite.

Experience with Telegram, Monday and/or Site Docs software considered an asset but not required.

SALARY and HOURS:



$23-$30 per hour 30-40 hours per week (seasonal flexibility)
