Job Description

Rentco Equipment Ltd. is a fast-paced local company that has been servicing the Peace Country for 60 years. We provide construction, oilfield, and homeowner equipment and consumables in the areas.

We are currently looking for a full-time Seasonal Laborer (April-end of August) to work out of our Grande Prairie Tool Shed location.

As a Seasonal Labourer, you are responsible for :

• Preparing and loading shipments for customers and clients
• Traveling to customer and client sites to set-up and take-down event tents
• Inspecting returned items for damages and reporting them to Management
• Washing the tents, tables, and chairs according to company standards
• Completing secure and accurate loading and unloaded of deliveries
• Cleaning and organizing the shop and yard
• Performing routine checks on rental equipment to ensure that it is safe and in good working order
• Demonstrating equipment to customers and ensuring they feel comfortable using the rental equipment

You have the following skills and abilities:

• Class 5 driver\xe2\x80\x99s licence
• Ability to work outside in all temperatures while wearing required PPE (steel-toed boots, hard hat, safety glasses)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights using man-lifts and ladders
• Ability to take initiative and work hard as a team member
• Ability to provide excellent customer service skills
• General knowledge of homeowner equipment and mechanical experience would be an asset
