Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate

Seasonal Clinical Assistant Volunteer

to join our team for a limited term placement. This volunteer role is ideal for students or individuals interested in gaining firsthand experience in a clinical or mental health care setting.

Working under the supervision of licensed clinical professionals, the volunteer will support day-to-day administrative and non-clinical operations to ensure smooth functioning of client appointments, documentation processes, and overall client care experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet clients and assist with check-in procedures Support clinicians with administrative tasks (e.g., filing, appointment reminders, preparing materials) Maintain confidentiality and uphold clinic privacy policies (HIPAA/PIPEDA compliance) Help organize and maintain a clean, welcoming clinic environment Assist in scheduling, data entry, and electronic records management (as appropriate) Shadow clinical staff (if permitted and appropriate) for educational purposes

Qualifications:

Interest in healthcare, psychology, social work, or related fields Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable Ability to maintain strict confidentiality Previous volunteer or administrative experience is an asset Must be 18 years or older Current CPR/First Aid certification is an asset
