Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sewing and garment construction, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves creating, altering, and repairing garments while ensuring high-quality standards are met. The Seamstress will play a crucial part in our production process, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

Operate sewing machines and other equipment to construct and finish garments according to specifications. Read and interpret patterns, sketches, and technical drawings to accurately create designs. Perform alterations on existing garments, including resizing, hemming, and mending as needed. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and safety. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while adhering to quality standards. Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies before final approval. Assist in inventory management of fabrics and materials used in production.

Experience

Previous experience as a Seamstress or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and warehouse operations is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Proficiency in using various sewing machines and tools is essential.
