Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress for Bridal and Evening Wear to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sewing and a strong understanding of garment construction. This role is essential in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. The Seamstress will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with team members to produce high-quality items efficiently and assist in RTW alterations if any.

Duties

Operate sewing machines and other equipment to create garments and other textile products. Read and interpret patterns, specifications, and technical drawings to ensure accurate production. Perform alterations and repairs on garments as needed, ensuring a perfect fit and finish. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company specifications.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Seamstress or in a similar role within the manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of various sewing techniques, fabrics, and garment construction methods. Ability to operate industrial sewing machines and other relevant equipment effectively. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and management.
