Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Seafood Facility Workers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the processing and packaging of seafood products, delivery of product to various destinations around the Greater Victoria area, and helping customers in our retail store. Your commitment to food safety and sanitation will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of our products and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Experience not totally necessary but hourly rate is dependent on experience

Duties

Assist in the processing and packaging of seafood Using the delivery van to distribute orders to our wholesale clients Assisting retail customers Ensure all products are packaged according to company standards and food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and tools to meet health and safety guidelines. Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications. Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and workflow. Follow all company policies regarding food safety and hygiene practices.

Requirements

Experience in the food industry, particularly in seafood processing or butchery, is preferred. Able bodied to lift up to 50lb+ comfortably Knowledge of packaging techniques and manufacturing processes related to food products. Familiarity with sanitation practices and food safety regulations is essential. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment. Pay: From $22.00 per hour
