Screed Operator
Job Description
Parsons Paving Ltd. is seeking a skilled and reliable Paver/Screed Operator to join our team for the 2025 season.
This role involves operating the screed on a paver to lay, spread, and level asphalt on roadways, parking lots, and other surfaces, ensuring precise application and adherence to safety protocols. Assisting with labour and raking duties will also be required.
The successful applicant would have a minimum of 2 years experience running a screed on a paver, working with an asphalt crew, a valid class 5 drivers licence and WHMIS 2015 training.
Strong physical stamina and the ability to work in all weather conditions is required.
Wages will be based on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 - 60 per week
Schedule:
Day shift
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
Paradise, NL: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
