Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Screed Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various construction and heavy equipment operations, with a strong focus on Asphalt and particularly the Screed. This role requires a proactive individual who is capable of working in a fast-paced environment while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Duties

Operate heavy machinery, including Screed, Paver, and Skidsteer to perform tasks related to paviing and asphalt. Pave surfaces and assist in the construction of various structures by digging and building as required. Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively, adhering to project timelines. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery and working on-site.

Skills

Proficiency in operating a screed and paver is the ideal. We are looking for someone with at the minimum 1-2 years operating either or both. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly loader operation. Ability to perform commercial driving tasks as needed for transporting materials or equipment. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues on-site.
