About this opportunity:

Reporting to the Manager, SCM Facilities & Pads Projects, the SCM Contract Performance Analyst holds the Contractor accountable to the contract. This position ensures the obligations of their contract are adhered to, and facilitates contract performance meetings, as well as documents and manages Contractor performance. The SCM Contract Performance Analyst identifies risks, claim mitigation, and change management. The successful incumbent demonstrates the ability to manage multiple tasks in a timely and organized manner with exceptional attention for detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute contract post-award activities (e.g. coordinate RFI\xe2\x80\x99s, maintain change logs, execute amendments & change orders, contract closeouts) per Cenovus\xe2\x80\x99s policies, standards and processes, and in alignment with Canadian Procurement Law

  • Work with Cenovus/Contractors to ensure the obligations of their contract are followed

  • Work with internal stakeholders (e.g. Project Management Team, Construction Team) to ensure project deliverables are met

  • Facilitate Contractor on-boarding, performance meetings, and off-boarding

  • Identify risks to the project and mitigate contractor claims, with support from stakeholders

  • Work with Contractors to resolve day-to-day issues, including the resolution of invoicing concerns in a timely manner.

  • Attestation of field tickets


Qualifications:

  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

  • Post-Secondary Education or SCM certification or degree would be considered an asset

  • Minimum 5-6 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Contract Administration

  • Experience in administering Lump Sum, Unit Rate, and Time & Material contracts

  • Experienced in contract change management, claims management, and risk management activities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

  • Excellent communication, time-management and organization skills

  • SAP/Ariba knowledge considered an asset

  • Strong drive for results while ensuring safe and quality performance by contractors
