Job Description

Bond International College is hiring a passionate and experienced part- time Science teacher for grade 9 and 10. The position is for period 4, from 2:25 pm to 3:40 pm, Monday through Friday. If you have experience teaching these courses and are enthusiastic about these subjects, please submit your resume at the earliest.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation. Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience. Utilize innovative teaching methods and technology to enhance learning. Support students with diverse learning needs, including special education requirements. Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field with a focus on Science. Proven experience as a teacher or tutor in a classroom setting. Strong knowledge of science curriculum and teaching methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles. Experience with special education practices is an asset.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00-$65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6.25 per week

Work Location: In person
