At Exploring Scholar, we are currently seeking a

science

Teacher to join our team. This is an in person position giving teachers the perfect opportunity to inspire students through engaging lessons. The ideal candidate will have a full-time science or teaching job during, or they will be in teacher's college or in an education related field. Teachers can also enjoy professional growth opportunities such as alternative practicums and assistance cultivating resumes for future experiences.

Teacher Opportunities:

In-person teaching at our tech-driven facility. Opportunity to teach more courses or one-on-one tutoring classes for more hours. Stable timetable - group class times scheduled by semesters - no uncertainties! Teachers will have additional opportunities to move up in roles and to manage unique educational projects. Supportive administrative staff - you only need to focus on your scheduled teaching. No working for you in finding students, no communications with guardians needed, no worries about scheduling. Qualifications:

Teaching experience with grades 7-10 science classes in a Canadian or US curriculum.

Academic proficiency and confidence in teaching demonstrated during the selection process. Teachers must be proficient in online teaching tools.

Responsibilities:

Must deliver high-quality lessons to small classes of students or through private tutoring. Prepare lessons within guidelines and Mark homework and assessments. Help promote students' interests in the subject. Teach a minimum of 4 hours per week.

: We are located at 201 Consumers Rd, North York, ON.

Compensation

: Compensation is calculated by teaching hours and prior experience.

In Person math, science, physics, and english (ELA), and remote AP economics, AP statistics, and AP computer science.
