Company Overview:

Exploring Scholar, based in Toronto, is seeking a Science teacher to join our in person educational team. The ideal candidate will have a full-time science or teaching related job during the day, or they are in teacher's college or education in related fields. Teachers will teach at our location in North York, ON.

We are a rapidly growing provider of education services specializing in K-12 academic enrichment programs and are a facility where you can deliver lessons directly catered to student needs.

Qualifications:

Teaching experiences in Grade 7-10 science classes in a Canadian or US curriculum required.

Strong academic proficiency and confidence in teaching sciences, demonstrated during the selection process. Proficient in online teaching tools.

Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality lessons to small classes of students or in a private tutoring setting. Prepare lessons within guidelines and mark homework and assessments. Promote students' interests in the subject. Teachers will work a minimum 4 hours per week.

Compensation

: Compensation is calculated by teaching hours and prior experience.
