Exploring Scholar, based in Toronto, is seeking a Math teacher to join our educational team. Ideal candidates will teach at a day school, or they are in teacher's college or in an education related field. Classes will be

in-person

. Teachers will teach at our location in North York, ON. Teachers will work a minimum 4 hours per week.

We are a rapidly growing provider of education services, specializing in K-12 academic enrichment programs, and creating a supportive environment where educators can design tailored materials to meet student needs while enjoying respect and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications:

Have teaching experiences in mathematics for any grade from grade 6 to grade 12 (required).

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Education with a focus on Mathematics is required; advanced degrees are a plus. Teachers will have a strong academic proficiency and confidence in teaching mathematics, demonstrated during the selection process. Instructors must be proficient in online teaching tools.

Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality lessons to small classes of students. Prepare lessons within guidelines and Mark homework and assessments. Help promote students' interests in the subject.

Compensation

: Compensation is calculated by teaching hours and prior experience.
