Job Summary

The BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) consists of a multi-disciplinary team that includes clinicians, scientists, researchers, epidemiologists, statisticians, research coordinators, database managers and developers. The BCCDC is a world-leader in infectious disease genomics research and plays a leading role responses to emerging pathogens, outbreaks, and pandemic responses. The Science and Grant Writer (SGW) will be responsible for developing, writing, publishing and editing scientific papers and grants along with a wide variety of research-related documents within the UBC CDC, that stem from genomics and epidemiological characterization of carbapenemase producing organisms, enhanced surveillance of Vibrio species and other antimicrobial resistance related work.
