Job Description

Summary

Alberta Counsel is seeking a Project Management and Grant Writing Specialist to join our growing team. Responsibilities will include providing research, writing, and client management support to our government relations team. The Project Management and Grant Writing Specialist will report to the VP of Corporate Development & Government Relations.



• Research grant opportunities from government and non-government agencies
• Monitor, track, and summarize funding opportunities and application requirements for multiple stakeholders
• Written submissions and joint coordination of Alberta Counsel's print materials
• Review stakeholder strategic documents to study and understand objectives, programs, and/or financial needs
• Generate high-quality proposals, narratives, applications, and supporting documents
• Research and collect data and study findings to support proposals
• Participate in and act as a liaison for team projects
• Maintain detailed records and complete reports as required
• Organize and facilitate meetings as required
• Assisting with research on lobby files as required

Education

Bachelor's degree an asset but not required.

• Ability to think creatively, follow through on projects, and anticipate project needs

• Previous grant writing experience an asset
• Understanding of the provincial political environment in Alberta an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
