Science 8- 11 This temporary position consists of 4 blocks of Science - 1 block of Science 10, 2 blocks of Science 8, 1 block of Life science 11 (Biology) Preference will be given to applicants who have academic and professional preparation to teach high school Science. Interested applicants are expected to have excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and colleagues. Cambie is a comprehensive 8-12 school with a focus on student voice and promotion of a well-rounded education. Creating opportunities to deepen student connections and engagement is a schoolwide focus.



Cambie maintains a positive behaviour support system (Cambie 3R's) sharing effective instructional strategies to engage students, providing descriptive feedback as we work with proficiency assessment practices and incorporation of the First Peoples Principles of Learning into our teaching and learning.The successful candidate for this position must have current academic and professional preparation as well as teaching experience in Science (Biology) at the secondary grade levels.
