Key Responsibilities

We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for someone that thrives on supporting the delivery of strategic and innovative solutions. As a member of the SAP Modernization Program (SAPMP) Team, and reporting to the Director of the SAP MP, you will work closely with our partners and client base which includes: government departments, agencies, boards and commissions, health and education sectors as well as our system integrator to meet the short-term and long-term business requirements of the program. The Program Specialist is responsible for providing specialized project support to the leadership and management team of the SAP Modernization Program. Duties include advancement of program goals and objectives, coordination of project activities, vendor management, budget and financial reporting, and analyzing, monitoring, and organizing information related to the SAP Modernization program.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Conducts research, statistical analysis, and analytical reviews for the SAP modernization program.
  • Works closely with the SAP MP management on vendor and expenditure management including monitoring, tracking, processing and reporting on invoicing, payments, expenditures, etc.
  • Manages budget and forecasting activities through timely and effective coordination and analysis of operating expenditures and budgets.
  • Communicates regularly with SAP MP leadership on the financial position of the program to be proactive in the resolution of issues as identified.
  • Supports the planning, development and implementation of initiatives within the SAP modernization program and SAP service management teams.
  • Assists in developing and supporting project plans, updates and provides contract management support including change request recommendations.
  • Reviews project documentation to ensure all deliverables are present, complete, and archived appropriately.
  • Tracks and reports status of program and project portfolios, coordinating and preparing performance reporting to help senior management determine scope of program and projects.
  • Supports senior colleagues in the development, organization and delivery of internal and external communications and communication platforms such as Sharepoint.
  • Supports day-to-day relationships with clients, contract service providers, and team members.
  • May perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience

This may be the right opportunity for you if you have a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a focus in Accounting or Finance and five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

The following will also be required for the position:
  • Experience with Office 365 product suite including but limited to: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, MS Project and Visio.
  • Strong analytical skills demonstrated through past work experience;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project coordination tasks and resources with multiple priorities and assess emerging issues
  • Experience working with both business and technical audiences;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Experience working with a diverse group of stakeholders including, executives, managers, business subject matter experts and service providers;
  • Strong organizational skills that facilitate managing multiple initiatives simultaneously;
  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively as part of a team
While not required, it is considered an asset if you possess:
  • Experience working in an SAP/ERP support organization or project
  • Experience using an SAP/ERP application
  • Understanding of an alternate service provider supported organization
  • An understanding of government financial budgeting policies and procedures

Pay Grade: PR 06 - PR 10

Salary Range: $1,915.37 - $2,746.69 Bi-Weekly
