Duties

Prepare a variety of sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation and service areas Assist customers with menu selections, upselling additional items to enhance their experience Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy hours Handle cash transactions accurately and provide excellent customer service Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures Restock supplies as needed and assist with kitchen organization Uphold high standards of hygiene and safety in all aspects of food preparation and serving

Requirements

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or food industry preferred but not required Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and safety standards Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous Demonstrated ability to uphold sanitation standards and ensure food safety compliance Enthusiasm for serving others and a passion for quality food

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
