Sample Prep Driver
Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sample Pick up Driver who embraces advances in technology and is looking for an opportunity to be part of a collaborative team
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to drive distances
Conducts vehicle inspections before and after each trip
Ensures vehicle is maintained clean
Inspect and maintains the truck in safe operational condition
Identify vehicle needs and put in service requests as needed
Flexible work schedule
Ensure documentation is complete and accurate on all Chain of Custody Forms
Storing and disposing of samples properly
Adhere to all mine site safety policies and procedures
Comply with Health, Safety and Security, Environmental and all Company policies and procedures
Comply with state and federal health and safety regulations.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Polite and professional disposition
Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
MSHA certification (Preferred but not required)
Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations
Must be able to follow written and verbal instruction
Previous driving experience (Preferred but not required)
Safety
Always wear appropriate PPE while in production environment. Be alert and observe, correct, and report any unsafe conditions. Follow operating procedures and comply with all regulatory requirements.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Able to lift and carry lab equipment and samples safely in a lab environment. Bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting and reaching is required. Ability to lift in excess of 30 lbs.
