MSALABS is an experienced global provider of geochemical laboratory services to the exploration and mining industries in Canada, the USA and around the world. We have a rapidly growing network of laboratories in key mining regions around the world to limit lead times and transit costs and we employ the latest hi-tech analysis equipment.

We have an opening in our Newfoundland location.

We are looking for a dedicated and detail orientated self-starter who has the following skills and experience:

Responsibilities:

Carry out Sample Preparation procedures in accordance with documented SOP's or recognized standard reference methods. Report any deviation from documented procedures to the Sample Preparation Supervisor. Inform the Sample Preparation Supervisor of any nonconforming event related to client samples, or other departmental operations. Inform the Sample Preparation Supervisor of any unsafe conditions within the department. Follow all HSE protocols. Act in a safe and professional manner and wear appropriate attire including the required personal protective equipment. Ensure proper functioning of Sample Prep operations by: Monitoring the performance of the equipment. Ensuring adequate inventory of supplies. Practicing good housekeeping. Communicate general laboratory issues to the Sample Preparation Supervisor as appropriate. Some lifting is required, up to 50lbs. Perform other duties as required by management

Requirements:

Able to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently. Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask. Detail orientated and ability to work very well under pressure. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
