INGOFLOOR, a local family-owned flooring store, is looking to fill the position of

Sample Board Technician

This is a permanent, full-time position. Monday-Friday, 8:30 to 5:00

Activities include:

Overseeing Flooring Sample Program:

- Physical creation of sample boards (design sample board layout, pulling required product, cutting product, adhering product with adhesive, printing labels, etc.)

- Maintaining sample catalog for wholesale clients

- Dispatching samples for new and existing clients

- Working with remote sales agents on sample requests

Other tasks include

- Answering phone calls

- Providing stock checks and estimates

- Entering orders from phone and walk-in-traffic

- Getting freight quotes and preparing shipping documents

- Occasionally pulling orders if the warehouse is busy

The position offers a mixture of physical and mental work. Some days there will be more physical work and other days will involve more work on computer and with customer interactions. The ideal candidate will enjoy a mixture of physical and mental work.

Other attributes would be:

- Be able to lift 50lbs

- Able to operate basic power and hand tools

- Work smart and with common sense

- Have a passion for flooring, design and construction

- Be organized, detail oriented and good at basic math

Pay: from $22.00/hr

We are located at 10330-117 Avenue, Grande Prairie (behind the Nissan Dealership on the bypass.)
