Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will be supporting sales and marketing operations through the preparation and maintenance of sales and demand reports, business reviews, and promotional performance analyses. You will ensure accurate and up-to-date information across customer portals, internal databases, and IT systems. You will serve as a key support resource for internal teams, ensuring smooth communication and efficient execution of commercial activities.
YOUR CHALLENGES:
Create, prepare, and update sales reports, demand planning reports, and short-, medium-, and long-term sales reports (dashboard, return on investment for promotions, forecasts).
Prepare business reviews (template).
Keep information up to date on major customer portals (listings, promotions, status or price changes, sales reports, etc.)
Keep internal documents up to date (price lists, promotional sheets, promotional materials, etc.)
Create new SKUs in GS1.
Update internal IT tools, such as keeping files up to date in Office 365 and ensuring information is shared with Companion and Salesforce (creation of new accounts).
Share and update production forecasts (promotions, new products, new major customers).
Coordinate sample shipments for retail, food service, and industrial customers.
Manage and schedule requests for promotional materials from merchandisers and stores.
Plan and coordinate various special projects or commercial events.
Plan meetings and make the necessary arrangements to ensure they run smoothly (welcoming participants, booking rooms, catering, etc.).
Manage and update the website and various social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, etc.
Translate various documents from French to English and vice versa.
Act as a resource person for other departments and follow up on files delegated to them.
All other related administrative tasks.
WHAT YOU HAVE:
Relevant university or college degree.
2-3 years of sales administration experience working with clients and handling administrative tasks.
Consumer goods experience working for a Distributor, Manufacturer or Retailer (considered an asset).
Strong Excel proficiency is required, as well as working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Power BI.
Strong analytical skills.
Experience in analyzing retail sales data.
Fast learner. Flexible and curious.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, in French and English. Most of the work is conducted in English with customers and account managers.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to juggle multiple assignments through prioritization and task management.
Organized, detail-oriented, and focused on sales and operational excellence.
