In this role, you'll focus on selling high-quality imported food products--primarily proteins such as beef, pork, and seafood--to foodservice distributors and specialty wholesalers. Sales are typically in pallet and full-load quantities, requiring a relationship-driven approach and an understanding of volume sales.
Success in this role requires strong self-motivation, drive and a commitment to long-term development. With 1-2 years experience and dedication, this role will grow into a Comodity Trader role, which involves vendor relationships, procurement, in depth product knowledge and increased sales responsibility.

What You'll Do
As a
Sales Representative - Wholesale
, your responsibilities will include:
Managing and growing a portfolio currently exceeding $4M in revenue.
Developing new business with foodservice distributors, specialty wholesalers and processors throughout BC.
Collaborating with our purchasing team to forecast demand and presell incoming inventory.
Learning and developing knowledge of protein cuts (beef, pork, seafood) and related food products.
Building strong customer relationships through regular in-person visits and proactive communication.
Providing market insights and feedback to help identify new product and sourcing opportunities.
Work Location and Travel Requirements
Based out of our
Langley, BC
head office.
Expected to work in-office 3-4 days per week.
Travel to customer locations 1-2 times per week within British Columbia.
Primarily Lower Mainland, with occasional travel to the BC Interior.
Work-from-home is not part of this role.
What We're Looking For
2 or more years of B2B sales experience.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a relationship-first mindset.
Self-motivated, organized, and committed to building a long-term career in sales.
Willingness to learn about perishable products and industry practices.
Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
Ability to travel throughout BC for customer development.
