Job Description

Role Summary:



The Sales Representative is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities in the student, travel, and health insurance market. This role involves building relationships with travel agencies, insurance companies, insurance brokers, corporate clients, government representatives, and international partners to promote our Third-Party Administration (TPA) and travel & medical assistance services, while meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Reporting to the Group Head of Employee Benefits Operations, the ideal candidate is a natural relationship builder who thrives on connecting with people and uncovering business opportunities. With a proactive mindset, they seize opportunities, adapt quickly to challenges, and take ownership of results.

Primary Responsibilities:



Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the student, travel, and health insurance sector.

Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, insurance companies, insurance brokers, corporate clients, government representatives, and other key partners.

Conduct sales presentations, meetings, and calls to promote our services.

Collaborate with internal teams to design tailored solutions that meet client needs.

Support clients during implementation of new programs.

Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to generate leads.

Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and client interactions using CRM tools.

Skills, Experience & Attributes:



5+ years of experience in sales, ideally within the travel insurance, health insurance, or other insurance-related fields.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.

Strong understanding of travel health products and international healthcare systems.

Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to travel as required for client & prospect meetings and industry events.

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders

Strong business development mindset with a results-driven approach.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.

Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
