Sales Representative - The Carillon
Steinbach, ManitobaOn behalf of our client, The Carillon, we are currently recruiting for a Sales Representative based in Steinbach, Manitoba.
The Sales Representative at The Carillon will play a vital role in driving advertising sales and fostering long-lasting relationships with customers. This position involves promoting and selling advertising space for a wide range of advertising solutions. The Sales Representative will engage with both existing and potential advertisers, develop advertising strategies, and contribute to the growth of advertising revenues across various platforms.

About The Carillon:
The Derksen family published the first edition of The Carillon News on February 21, 1946. The Carillon went on to become the largest and most successful rural newspaper in Manitoba, serving Steiinbach and southeastern Manitoba..
The Carillon has received hundreds of awards over the years and was recently voted Top Community Newspaper in Canada.As the Sales Representative, you will:

• Maintain and increase advertising revenues for the Carillon and other products including R.O.P., special features and magazines.
• Oversee production from start to finish.
• Provide excellent customer service. Liaise between customer, graphic designer, credit and production departments and resolve any problems which may arise.
• Maintain regular customer contact by personal visits and telephone daily.
• Research potential clients and reach out to them.
• Work with creative services to create and design advertising campaign layouts and strategies. Prepare sales presentations tailored to specific customer target markets.
• Service customer accounts, resolving problems with credit, billing, ad placement, production, quality, etc..
• Conduct all transactions with professionalism and integrity.
• Perform weekly, monthly and yearly account revenue analysis.
• Build relationships in the community and attend client functions as required.
• Additional duties and special projects as assigned.

You and Your Experience:

• 2 - 3 years of sales or customer service experience.
• Knowledge of digital advertising would be considered an asset.
• Excellent oral and written presentation abilities.
• Post-secondary education in Marketing/Sales would be considered an asset.
• Strong computer skills and internet proficiency.
• Effective team player with the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
