About the Opportunity
We're seeking a
Sales Representative
for a thriving Renovations division specializing in window and door products, sold directly to homeowners. This is a highly customer-focused sales role, ideal for someone who's energetic, coachable, and committed to delivering outstanding service before, during, and after the sale.
This role offers a mix of
company-provided leads (approx. 60%) and self-generated opportunities (approx. 40%)
, giving you the freedom and earning potential to maximize your results. You'll spend significant time on the road meeting homeowners, conducting presentations, and building relationships throughout the Calgary area.
What You'll Do
Promote and sell window and door products directly to homeowners
Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, from initial meeting to post-installation follow-up
Conduct presentations at various times, including evenings and weekends as needed
Achieve revenue targets and maintain strong closing ratios
Proactively prospect for new business through networking, cold calling, referrals, and events
Represent the company professionally at trade shows, community events, and charity functions
Maintain accurate records, sales documentation, and CRM updates
Continuously grow product knowledge and sales expertise
What You Bring
Experience & Education:
Minimum 3-4 years in sales or highly customer-focused roles, ideally B2C
Background in industries like hospitality, retail, automotive rentals, or residential renovations is highly valued
High school diploma required; post-secondary education is an asset
Valid Class 5 driver's license and suitable work vehicle
Skills & Attributes:
Driven, self-starter mentality - always looking for the next sale
Confident closer with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Strong ability to build trust and rapport with homeowners
Highly customer-service oriented, with genuine pride in your work
Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in follow-ups
Coachable, adaptable, and eager to grow professionally
Comfortable with CRM systems (MS Dynamics), quoting software, and Microsoft Office
Willingness to complete pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and provide an acceptable driver abstract
Compensation & Perks
Guaranteed first-year salary of $75,000
Second year base of $15,000 plus commission; top earners $300,000+ OTE
