The Fire Safety Sales Representative reports to the Fire Safety Manager. The sales region for this position is Orillia/Muskoka/Parry Sound.

This position is paid a base salary plus commission based on achieving sales targets. The Fire Safety Sales Representative is provided with the use of a Company provided vehicle.

The Fire Safety Sales Representative works as part of the Fire Safety Team and the Sales Team. This position is best suited for a highly dynamic, energetic individual who has a proven sales track record and who holds an up-to-date CFAA certification.

As a proactive Sales Representative with Huronia, you will be responsible for achieving sales revenue goals, developing and maintaining valued customer relationships, expanding the company's current customer base, and developing and maintaining professional relationships with businesses within the communities that we service within the Orillia, Parry Sound and Muskoka Region.

Responsibilities



Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their life safety requirements. Proactively drive sales. Work collaboratively as part of the Fire Safety Team. Act as primary liaison between the client and the company, ensuring smooth communication and address client concerns promptly. Follow up on all sales leads and maintain customer management relationships, activities, opportunities and forecasting. Work collaboratively with security division to drive integrated security and fire safety systems. Work within our quoting software to develop a timely quote and immediately deal with all requested adjustments and enter adjustments into the final proposal. Effectively present final proposal to our customers. Review the system design & complete accepted proposal with all necessary members of the team including the fire and alarm teams. Work effectively with our customers post installation by providing demonstrations of purchased products and ensure our customers are comfortable with their system. Prepare necessary paperwork throughout the entire sales process. Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications



3 plus years of experience in sales, account management or customer service in fire, life safety, security industry or technical industry. Previous experience working with fire protection systems, familiarity with building codes and the ability to read blueprints. CFAA certification in good standing. Experience selling all fire systems, especially Mircom systems, is required. Mircom product knowledge is considered an asset. Knowledge of the assigned territory and relationships within the territory is an asset. NFPA 10 certification is an asset. Excellent written and oral communication skills, negotiation skills and presentation skills. Proficiency computer skills including all Microsoft office applications. Experience working with sales software (WeSuite) would be considered an asset. Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of our business and customers. Clear criminal record and drivers abstract.
