Description
Profile: Our client is a manufacturer of pumps used by gold courses, irrigation and municipalities across Quebec
Territory: Province of Quebec
Workplace: Work from home (local to Montreal) office presence once every 2 weeks
Products/Services: water pumps
Salary: Base $80,000-$100,000
Commissions/Bonus: 25% bonus
Car allowance: $1,000/month
Expense's reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

Functions:
  • Lead business development efforts by identifying growth opportunities and expanding the customer base within the golf, irrigation, and municipal sectors.
  • Foster strong, long-term client partnerships by delivering tailored water pump solutions that address unique project needs.
  • Coordinate with technical and engineering teams to develop solution proposals that align with client specifications and performance requirements.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including proposal preparation, bid submissions, and participation in public tenders for municipal and large-scale irrigation projects.
  • Track industry developments and competitor activity to provide actionable insights that inform sales strategies.
  • Deliver clear and timely reporting on pipeline activity, revenue forecasts, and performance metrics to senior leadership.
Requirements:
Development vs Maintenance: 60% vs 40%
Road vs Office: 50% vs 50%
Languages: French and English (bilingual)
Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, environmental sciences, business, or a related field.
Training: On the job training provided
Overnight Travel: Between 5 and 10% overnight travel
Years of experience: 5+ years) in technical or B2B sales, preferably in water systems, pumps, or fluid handling equipment.
Other requirements: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Transferable contacts: N/A
Transferable Knowledge: In-depth understanding of irrigation systems, golf course infrastructure, and municipal water systems.
Requirements
  • Important - Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, environmental sciences, business, or a related field.
  • Essential - Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
  • Essential - 5+ years) in technical or B2B sales, preferably in water systems, pumps, or fluid handling equipment.
