RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Local Tours Sales Rep, you'll be the first point of contact for guests walking by our outdoor booth. Your job is to

engage, inform, and sell

-- helping visitors choose the right adventure and ensuring everything goes smoothly from booking to check-in.

Greet and

engage

potential customers in a friendly, approachable way Sell and book local tours directly from the booth using our reservation system Answer guest questions about tour options, prices, and schedules Prepare guests with waivers and check-in forms before their tour Keep accurate records of sales and reservations Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming workspace Work with the front-desk office team to ensure a smooth and fun guest experience

REQUIREMENTS

You're a people person

- outgoing, friendly, and approachable Comfortable working outdoors and independently in a busy environment Tourism, hospitality, or sales experience is a strong asset Strong verbal communication and basic computer skills Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends and holidays Knowledge of Vancouver and local attractions is a bonus!

COMPENSATION

Wage: $17.40 Bonus: $1.00 per hour worked in the whole summer

if staying employed until Labour Day
