About the Position



Sobotec is seeking an experienced

Sales Professional

to work from the corporate office with a technical background and proven success in sales and customer development. The position requires experience developing new business from inbound requests, growing key accounts and successful lead generation and follow-up. The position understands architectural designs and can work with engineering teams to translate technical drawings and material specifications into compelling client solutions.

You'll also be working closely with architects, general contractors, developers, and brand-conscious clients who prioritize design, quality, and overall value. Your ability to understand and communicate technical information clearly, build trust, and develop creative, customer focused solutions will be essential.

Responsibilities



Manage inbound leads and inquiry responses Qualifying new opportunities to the company standards, and gather customer intelligence Act as the primary point of contact for assigned strategic and large accounts, ensuring outstanding service and proactive communications Management of the entire sales cycle, including prospecting, lead response, qualification and needs analysis, solution development and proposal presentation, project advancement, negotiation, deal closure and client transition Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and partners, while proactively identifying and pursuing new strategic business opportunities Create account plans and strategies tailored to each client, with emphasis on maximizing revenue and expanding product adoption Collaboration with internal teams (Sr. Sales Exec's, Estimating, Design, Production) to present the most compelling solutions to our clients Maintaining accurate records including sales forecasts, client communications, pipeline status and next steps within the company's CRM Support and execute cross-sell initiatives to drive additional revenue from existing accounts Monitor account health, resolving client inquires and challenges quickly, and serving as a liaison between the customer and other departments within the company Regular reporting of account insights, industry trends and competitive intelligence

Qualifications



5-10+ years' experience in a Sales and/or Inside Sales capacity Proven history of targeting and developing business for strategic and large key accounts Demonstrated ability to qualify opportunities, learn about accounts, the decision makers and where future opportunities exist Excellent conversational and problem-solving skills Confidence and ambition for seeking new opportunities to help clients and develop new relationships Proven solution sales skills within a B2B environment via complex sales cycles Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, comfortable engaging with executive level contacts Skilled with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam and Web Conferencing tools Ability to work independently and as part of a broader sales team Understand architectural drawings and construction specifications; assist clients in material selection and application advice

Other
