Iron Rock Brewing Co. (IRBC) is the first brewery to open and operate in the Big Land! We're committed to producing high-quality products and experiences that represent this beautiful place with pride. And having fun while doing it.

Iron Rock has experienced tremendous growth since its opening in October 2019. Throughout the pandemic, the company has built resilience by enhancing production & packaging capabilities. Part of this growth was the brewery's transition to 473mL aluminum cans in April 2020, which can now be found on shelves across the province with plans to explore additional export opportunities in eastern Canada in 2025.

Sale & Packaging Coordinator Position Summary:

IRBC is seeking an keen professional for the role of Sales & Packaging Coordinator to coordinate packaging activities, handle Labrador-regional sales activity, arrange logistics, and support inventory management.

The individual will work in collaboration with the team to build on their passion for fine local products and help IRBC deliver the experience our customers have grown to expect.

This is a full time position.

Essential Job Duties:

• Coordinate canning operations utilizing: Cask Semi-Automated Canning System (SAMS), ELF-50 Labeler, and associated equipment;
• Lead sales in the Labrador region (Lab West, Eastern and Coastal Labrador).
• Utilize brewery management software (BrewNinja) to track packaging activities, ensuring operational, quality, and regulatory compliance;
• Support brewery production, planning, and operations;
• Progressively develop your understanding of the beer production and packaging process at IRBC.
• Provide support for special events, particularly contributing to execution for major events.
• Work with team to manage inbound and outbound logistics
• Training and mentoring of other IRBC team members in the above duties

Should a candidate offer well-developed, comparable experience with strong references, they will be considered for an Assistant Business Manager role. Expectations and duties would adjust accordingly.

The Qualified Individual:

• An appreciation for local manufacturing and small business
• Experience in a comparable role in either sales or the service sector
• Proven history of proactive efforts to improve their workplace and its processes
• Education: Related post-secondary educational programs would be considered an asset, but not required
• Able to work well within a small team and individually
• Proficient knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, notably Word and Excel.

• Ability to prioritize and manage competing tasks, while ensuring attention to detail and cleanliness is maintained;

Pay: $42,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
