Summary

We are a fast-growing building materials company seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. This role is responsible for overseeing daily sales operations, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. The ideal candidate has strong market awareness, proven leadership in a sales environment, and a passion for the construction or building supply industry.

Responsibilities

Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly and annual targets Develop and implement effective sales strategies based on market trends and customer needs Build and maintain strong relationships with clients; conduct regular visits to key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention Coordinate cross-departmental efforts with warehouse, logistics, and finance to ensure smooth order processing and delivery Prepare regular sales reports and present performance updates to senior management Assist in hiring, training, and managing sales team members to enhance overall performance and efficiency Support and execute promotional events, sales campaigns, and marketing activities

Requirements

College diploma or above in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred) Minimum 2 years of local sales management experience in Canada; experience in the building materials or construction industry is a strong asset Proven ability to lead a sales team and effectively manage customer accounts Retail experience and inventory management skills are highly valued Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets Fluent in English; Mandarin and/or Cantonese proficiency is considered an asset Highly responsible, self-motivated, and results-driven, with a strong sense of ownership and teamwork

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
