The Sales Manager is a critical leadership position responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening client relationships, and leading the Sales Team to achieve and exceed organizational targets. As a key member of the leadership group, the Sales Manager upholds the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct, contributing to strategic initiatives and collaborating across departments, including marketing and public relations. This role requires strategic vision, strong leadership capabilities, and a commitment to performance excellence.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with organizational goals to ensure accurate revenue forecasting and target achievement.
Continuously monitor team performance against KPIs, adjusting strategies as needed.
Identify training needs, creating and delivering programs that enhance team capabilities.
Motivate, coach and guide the Sales Team to generate leads and meet individual and team objectives.
Conduct regular coaching, feedback sessions, and performance evaluations.
Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and accountable team environment.
Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Maintain strong internal relationships and nurture sustainable partnerships with business stakeholders.
Establish, track, and report on KPIs to evaluate team and individual performance.
Maintain visibility into daily team operations to support accountability and optimal performance
Sales Strategy and Client Relationship Management:
Lead the development and implementation of sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients and prospects, ensuring tailored, solution-oriented service.
Promote value-added services and identify opportunities for account growth through regular client engagement.

Business Development and Market Insight:

Provide market intelligence and feedback to senior leadership on competitor activity, client needs, and product/service opportunities.
Actively participate in the Showroom Committee and contribute to product presentation strategy.
Collaborate on marketing initiatives and coordinate special events in partnership with the President and Marketing Team.
Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and conferences to promote brand visibility and generate leads.
Administrative and Operational Duties:
Oversee and ensure timely reporting of sales opportunities, ensuring forecasting accuracy.
Review and approve tender submissions, sales presentations, and commercial proposals.
Develop and manage the sales department's budget, ensuring alignment with company financial objectives.
Maintain thorough knowledge of our ERP system's sales module(s) and be the first line of support for sales team
Regular monitoring and enforcement of sales staff using CRM module in system.
Maintain relationships with current and potential manufacturers and representatives.
Assist Human Resources in the recruitment and selection process when required.
Other duties as required.
Perform additional responsibilities as required in support of overall business objectives.
Experience
8+ years minimum of related experience selling.
In-depth knowledge of Government NMSO and Supply Arrangements.
Superior computer skills using Giza, Project Spec, Team Design and AutoCAD
Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to develop relationships.
Superior communication skills (speaking, writing, listening).
Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
Ability to focus on issues, identify trends and apply logical solutions in a consistent manner.
Leadership skills, strategic thinking, effective communication, and results driven.
Bilingualism is considered a strong asset.
